The Fund

Launched in April 2005, our Crisis Investingsm style means we seek opportunities in the small-mid cap arena for firms who have suffered a crisis - like delayed regulatory filings, government, criminal and/or civil investigations, accounting scandals or restatements, intellectual property or patent litigation, management turmoil and earnings misses/guidance revisions – and looking to exploit dramatic over-reactions to crisis that create important disparities between stock market values and the likely value of the underlying business.

The Portfolio Manager

Our Managing Member, Joe Feshbach, has over 20 years of investment experience, and has been successfully employing the fund’s Crisis Investingsm strategy in separate accounts since 2000.

Joe is a recognized innovator in alternative investment strategies -- as one of the co-founders and co-managers of a leading informational short-selling fund in the 80s and early 90s. As a private investor, he took an activist position in a publicly traded company, becoming interim CEO during a crisis and guiding the firm back to health. So unlike many portfolio managers, he understands both sides of the desk – that of the investor and of company management.
